Cosplay Make-Up & Goods

Today I went to the town´s shopping center to buy some things, one of them being make-up for my future cosplays. So I went inside the make-up store in the building together with Valkoinen Samurai and brought two eyeliners. One white and one dark purple, both for two coming cosplays. I also brought studio foundation cream, dark brown eyeshadow and sponges. But before we went to the shopping center in the morning, mom drove us to my appartment in Sweden. In my appartment I ordered the train tickets to Linköping (Sweden) where Winter Närcon is being held. When the tickets were ordered we headed to the shopping center and did our purchases there, as mentioned above.

Now to my make-up purchases.

I brought the eyeshadow and foundation cream to generally make myself look better (and less derp) in my cosplays. Since the make-up I have been using so far was only powder, so I needed to have something under it to make the powder to stay in place a longe time. But I also needed something that could on the same run cover some areas of my face better. For example the dark rings under the eyes, which has ruined some photos for me. I hope these make-up will do their job because they were rather expensive. I´d like to thank Valkoinen Samurai for the make-up recommendations, tips and for giving me company inside. Freaking lost in a make-up store myself, hurr ~

I brought the white and dark purple eyeliner for two coming cosplays! Can you guys guess who these two characters are? Well, the white one is for Rasetsu!Keisuke Sannan (Hakuōki: Shinsengumi Kitan) which I hope that I will be able to do this year (I need to use lenses for this one, and haven´t done it before) and the dark purple is for one of my original characters that I designed during December (2012) and fell in love with. Yes, that character is going to have dark purple hair therefore the same colored eyeliner! Can´t wait to start on it, even if it might end up being next year or 2015...*sad face*

Anyway! After all the shopping we returned to my appartment and waited there until mom came from her work to pick us up. During the time at my appartment I opened a package that had arrived some weeks ago. The package contained my zori shoes and white tabi socks. Yaay finally they arrived! Both were for my Keisuke Sannan cosplay (but works also for other characters that wear traditional japanese clothes). The zori shoes is a replacement for my cheap troll!flip-flop shoes that saw their last daylight in Skecon.

Now, I want some fredagsmyyys, and my other leg started to hurt like fuck out of nowhere...dafuq.

See ya guys and take care.

Also good thing you finally got the new shoes... Sannan sure can't wear sneakers. XD

    1. Epic, yes.

Yeah, I´m glad they finally came. Surely gonna need them, and they better stay whole during the cons xD

  2. Agreed that make-up is a necessity for cosplay! I never go to a con without it myself after learning the hard way (from looking terrible at the very first con I cosplayed at). ^^; Hope the make-up you purchased works out and makes your cosplays even better!

Also glad to hear you got new zori shoes to replace the flip-flop ones that broke!
